About Us
What We Do
We are dedicated to bringing music, art, and entertainment to those who need it the most. The Donovan’s Venom provides completely free music lessons to qualifying 18 and under youth and Seniors 65+ through music scholarships. We also put together benefit concerts, toy drives, and food drives to support our local community.
The Donovan’s Venom INC. gives its resources to individuals who don’t have the means or access, those who are underserved, and those who are often forgotten.

We Get Results
Our tutelage has yielded immense success. In just 12 weeks,
our 115-student pilot program elicited:
- an 87% increase in MAP1 test scores
- a 43% boost in both assessment engagement and Lexile2 levels
- an 83% improvement in RIT3 scores
Music truly is a pathway to achievement, unlocking one’s brain in ways conventional education does not.
1 MAP = Measures of Academic Progress: a standardized assessment that measures academic growth over time
2 Lexile = A measure that links a student’s reading ability with text complexity
3 RIT = Rasch Unit: the score from the MAP assessment, functioning like an academic ruler to consistently track learning across seasons and years
